Hand crafted en-suite bathrooms with local stone floors.

Each of the hand crafted en-suite bathrooms feature a stone floor made from local granite from Anketell Forest. There is a good sized timber panelled bath for long soaks with overhead ‘rain’ shower, hand basin, toilet and of course, glorious views.

Another three – five adults or children can be accommodated in the large living area on double sofa beds and on the daybed in the sun lounge.

Kitchen and Dining

Kitchen1 by Rene LinigerThe large kitchen can cook a feast or an intimate dinner for two.dining balconyDine alfresco on the expansive covered dining balcony or on the banquet table in the living hall.

The caterer’s kitchen features a five-burner gas stove top, a large electric oven, microwave, good quality pots and pans, all crockery, cutlery and glassware, blenders, juicers, food processor, coffee grinder, large fridge and separate chest freezer.

The large dining balcony area has double doors leading into the living room and a wide staircase leading down the steps to a large grassy area. The solid timber banquet tables are hewn from planks pulled from the old sheep yards. They can seat six-ten each or be joined together to seat 12-18 people.

For something special, ask Steve to fire up the outdoor wood oven for a delicious banquet of wood smoked bar-be-que meats, vegies and pizzas.

Living and Relaxing

Living2Relax in front of the fire, or amongst the cool of the breeze way.

sunloungeRejuvenate amongst the space and quiet.

Most of the original Shearing Shed is still as it was 50 years ago with some additions and conversions. Some shearing memorabilia and the old hall with hardwood floor are still there as well as creature comforts including rugs, lounges and a large indoor wood fire.

This main hall is a large space (10m x 16m) with heaps of room for everyone to do their thing. This is the hub of the Shearing Shed – relaxed, comfortable, and spacious.

Bring the outside in. Sliding doors on the east open onto the covered outdoor stage and bonfire area. Double doors opposite open to the western dining balcony and staircase. Let the breeze in on those New England summer evenings.
